For privacy requests, contact contact@getyomo.com. I handle these requests personally. Where this notice says “we”, it means Pascal Koch as the operator of YOMO. This notice covers the informational website. When you open the YOMO app, the app privacy policy applies to its features and services. This website itself offers no registration, uploads or payments.

2. Providing the website

When you visit, technically necessary connection data is processed, including your IP address, time, requested file, browser information and technical errors. The website is delivered through Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. The purposes are reliable, secure delivery and prevention of abuse; the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is operating the website securely. Technical logs are needed only for as long as necessary to resolve errors or investigate a security incident. We do not use them to build advertising profiles. Vercel processes this data as a processor under a data processing agreement.

3. Local fonts; no third-party embeds

Fonts and images are delivered with the website. They do not require requests to Google Fonts servers. This website has no embedded Google Forms, advertising pixels, social media plugins or external video players. External links connect to the linked service only when you open them.

4. Cookies and website statistics

This informational website sets no analytics or advertising cookies and uses no optional web analytics. It creates no visitor identifiers and records no click journeys, time spent or session replays for marketing or audience measurement. Vercel Web Analytics is not loaded either, and the website stores nothing in your browser (no cookies, no local storage). That is why there is no cookie banner. Technically necessary connection data for delivering the website is separate; see section 2.

5. Contact by email and contact form, content reports

When you write to contact@getyomo.com or use the contact form, we process your address, message and any attachments to handle your request. The mailbox is hosted by Migadu (Switzerland) and managed by Pascal Koch. Our server sends messages from the contact form to this mailbox by email; nothing else is stored. To protect against mass spam, our service provider Upstash counts how many messages come from your IP address; this counter expires after one hour (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest: protecting the mailbox from abuse). Giving your name is optional. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about a possible contract, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for handling questions and reports, or Article 6(1)(c) GDPR where a specific legal duty to process or retain information applies. Emails are deleted after resolution once no longer needed for follow-up, statutory retention or establishing, exercising or defending legal claims. Please send only necessary information, and no credentials or private keys.

6. Recipients and processing outside the EU

Recipients are the operator and service providers for hosting, email and spam protection, to the extent necessary for their tasks, and competent bodies where disclosure is legally required. Vercel may process data in the United States. Vercel states that it is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision under Article 45 GDPR) and additionally offers the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR). Migadu is based in Switzerland, for which an adequacy decision of the European Commission exists. Upstash, Inc. is based in the USA; the contact-form counter is processed in the EU (Frankfurt). Any access from the USA is covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR) in the data processing agreement. Information about the basis used in your case and a copy of relevant safeguards can be requested at the email address above.

7. Your rights

Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time for the future.

Right to object (Article 21 GDPR): You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, for example by email to contact@getyomo.com. We will then stop processing the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Providing information by email is voluntary; without sufficient information or a reply address we may be unable to answer. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
