Help us assess your report
- Provide the exact link or a clear identification of the content.
- Explain why you believe it is unlawful or problematic.
- Include a reachable email address and, where necessary for the report, your name.
- Please confirm that the information is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
Do not forward unlawful images or send private keys. If you give an email address, we confirm that we received your report. A person at YOMO decides on every report, carefully and objectively. Until then, a moment reported in the app may be paused automatically and provisionally, only in the circle where it was reported: when two members report it, when the circle’s owner reports it, or when a report points to the sexual abuse of a child. This pause is a protective measure, not a decision. It ends after 72 hours at the latest; for a report of child sexual abuse, only with our decision. We then tell you our decision and how you can challenge it. A report does not automatically result in removal. Anyone affected by a decision is told the reasons and can have it reviewed. If a report points to a criminal offence that threatens the life or safety of people, we inform the competent authorities. In the app, you can also report shared moments and block people. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services; this mailbox is not an emergency service.
Privacy and reports
Private Diary moments are encrypted on the device. YOMO cannot open their contents. When a shared moment is reported, that particular moment may be made accessible for review. Account and technical metadata are separate. Our privacy notice explains how reports are processed.
